Summing up

The construction industry demonstrated great resilience during 2021, and whilst challenges are forecast to remain in 2022, it is anticipated that these will be less severe. The industry also has experience in dealing with the impacts from those challenges and increased collaboration has been seen across the industry to overcome the issues faced.

Continued growth is forecast for construction due to a strong private housing outlook and investment in rail, health, education and industrial construction. The key watch watchwords continue to be flexibility, adaptability, collaboration and innovation as we move on up in 2022.
